Drawings can be created by entering specific part parameters or can be modified using similar part drawings. At data entry you can also access similar parts from archived drawings.

The desired quote system is one which can read a print, create the required sequence of operations, analyze the workload and then generate a quote for the customer.
With the re-structuring of the Sieber manufacturing floor into a work cell strategy and the integration of the ERP-System (Enterprise Resource Planning) Sieber has the ability to evaluate its capacities and automatically recognize and resolve any bottlenecks in its system.
Additionally all of the required operations have been mathematically generated, and then combined with the work center detail a completion target date can be generated.
What must the user do?
No separate hardware or software expenditure is necessary for the customer. The customer works via the Internet. With the access codes provided by SIEBER the tool-management system can be accessed from every work station. View 1.
The service is intuitive and supported graphically. In the system development much consideration was given to the fact that special knowledge is not a requirement or that special training will be necessary to use the system.
With the co-ordination and approval of your purchasing group an authorized employee can be able to order product utilizing this system.
For example even your authorized machine operator who ascertains an urgent need during the night shift can initiate necessary orders and save valuable time.
A communication with the ERP system of the customers can be established, eliminating redundant duplicate order documentation.
Customer specific information such as cost centers, unit costs, program names, and other special identifications can be entered and saved in the system. The data, if required, could also be exported in formats like Excel, this ability eliminates the requirement for the customer to maintain a second set of records.
As in the past we will always manufacture the parts to the original print, which needs to be provided with the original order.

For every group of goods a product generator exists, it questions all the necessary information required from the operator requesting the quote and in parallel generates a symbolic drawing.
The required data can routinely be entered in less than a minute, then the "calculate" feature is started and the data is taken from the Internet into the MRP system, the working plan is automatically developed and valued, thus providing quantity pricing along with delivery times.
